How do I get my marriage license? For a legal marriage to place in South Carolina, a couple must apply for their license at a county courthouse in South Carolina. There is a 24 hour waiting period before the couple can pick up the license.

It’s the weekend and we want to get married. Where do we get our marriage license? Marriage license can only be issued at a courthouse in South Carolina. For a weekend wedding, couples must apply for their license at least by the Thursday before the weekend they wish to get married. The license can be then be picked up on the Friday before the weekend of the ceremony.

Can we change the packages? Yes packages can be customized to your needs. While all services are named in each package are available to you, if you do not use all the services there will be no discount or refund given.

Do you only perform beach weddings? No. We perform many weddings including churches, plantations, gardens, homes, and more.

Why can’t I have my beach ceremony in the city limit of Myrtle Beach? The city of Myrtle Beach has passed an ordinance stating no weddings may take place on the beach within the city limits. Beach weddings can be performed in the city of North Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach, or Horry County beaches.

Where do you perform the beach ceremony? Most of our weddings are within the city limit of North Myrtle Beach. Frequently, we use the Cherry Grove Inlet location due to the natural beauty. While there is limited parking, shuttle services are available.

Can I select my own colors? Yes, for packages 3, 4, and 5, you may select your color theme.

Do you offer a military discount? Yes, we offer a 10% discount on all packages for any active or retired military service member with proper identification.

Frequently Your Information

Please be aware of the difference in the city of North Myrtle Beach and the northern end of the city of Myrtle Beach.You will need to be in the city of North Myrtle Beach in the Cherry Grove section.  There are two 6309 N Ocean Blvd addresses in the Grand Strand area. The two locations are 30 minutes apart. This time may be longer during the peak season. We may not be able to wait for you or your guest as there may be other weddings scheduled. Be sure you and your guest use exactly the following address: 

6309 N Ocean Blvd, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582

The ceremony location is located at the northern most portion of Ocean Blvd in the city of “North Myrtle Beach” in the Cherry Grove district. Ocean Blvd will dead end with parallel parking on the west side of Ocean Blvd. At the dead-end there are red and white barricades. Beside the barricade, there will be a public beach access. Your guest will follow the access to the ceremony location.

We strongly advise you to have your guest arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time of your wedding. 

If you are expecting more than 10 guests (including the bridal party), we highly recommend you use our shuttle services or arrange your own transportation services for your guest. As with all locations at the beach, there is very limited parking at the site location and you will have problems parking. We can not guarantee there will be parking during the time of your wedding, especially during peak months, nor can we reserve parking for you as all parking is open to the public. The nearest public parking aside from the limited shoulder parking is 10 blocks south. If you choose to use our shuttle services have your guest park at:

Please be aware of where you are parking. Parking violations and/ or towing may result if you park in the wrong area. Do not block driveways or park within 15ft of fire hydrants. 

If you are using our shuttle service it will start running 30-45 minutes before the start time of your wedding and will run until your guest are taken back to the parking location making multiple trips until all guest are transported back and forth. 

No alcohol is permitted on the beach.

There are no restroom facilities on the beach. The nearest facilities are 10 blocks south and 4 blocks west of the ceremony location.

All beaches along the Grand Strand are public beaches. We cannot make anyone leave a certain area. As such, there may be people around the wedding site. There is not typically a dense population of people at the site we use but it is not completely secluded. 

Music cannot be played where it can be heard over 50ft away from the source.

If you are having a weekend wedding, you and your fiancé will need to apply for your license in person by at least the Thursday before the weekend you want to get married. When you apply for your license there is a 24 hour waiting period before you can pick up your license. The courthouse is closed on Saturday and Sunday. 

If you are using flower petals in your wedding they must be real flowers or you will be fined $1000 by the city of North Myrtle Beach. This also includes: balloons, lanterns, and any other materials that are not biodegradable.
